More germ fighting tips while on the road. If you are staying in an unfamiliar hotel, do yourself a favor and take the bedspread off of the bed. Why you ask? I’ll tell you by painting a typical scenario. During the night the previous guest gets too hot while sleeping. So naturally they throw off the top bed covering, the bedspread to cool down. The housekeeping staff does not wash the bedspread when they clean the room. They just pick it up off of the floor and put it back on the bed. Now just imagine what has been on the floor is now on your bedspread. Do you want to have all of the dirt, grime and germs that the previous guest walked through near your face, nose and ears? No? I didn’t think so. Remember to take throw pillows off of the bed for the same reasons.
