When ever you travel, you, naturally, have to dine. No where do you dine more than on a cruise ship. You can eat just about every second of the day. I have customers who are so excited about their vacation in the fact that they get to eat ALL DAY. While you may be traveling with a few friends, you may not be. It is always fun to sit with people you know but what happens when you are sat with strangers?? Do you instinctively shy away from them? Do you welcome them with open arms?
I advocate the later. You never know what kind of fun you can have with 'newly met friends'. They may have a whole world of experiences and information to offer. What an exciting adventure dinner could be! And if they are of the Bad and Very Ugly variety - you can always ask the maitre d' to change your seats the next night.
