Speciality restaurants

If you have ever cruised before you know that you will never go hungry. There are so many options, it can be mind boggling. But here is one option that you need to consider the next time you go cruising.
Try the speciality restaurant that you have to pay for. I know, I know. Why should I pay for food when I can get a perfectly reasonable meal for free?? I will tell you why. The food in the speciality restaurants on board the ships is beyond amazing. For a nominal charge of say between $20-$30 per person, you get a 4 star experience. I really didn't believe all the hype until I tried the speciality restaurant on board the Carnival Freedom.
My husband, his cousin, his wife and myself booked our reservation for the steakhouse. The service was outstanding. The food was melt in your mouth fantastic. The sommelier, though very young, was quite knowledgeable.  All of these factors combined made for an outstanding evening. Our experience rivaled anything I have ever experience even in a high quality steakhouse like Morton's. We left there we our mouths watering for the next time. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a fantastic meal on board the next cruise you take. You will not regret it!
