I thought that I would share this article as I do from time to time from my e-mail. I have used Atlanta and Dallas/Fort Worth several times. I agree that these are two really great airports. Minneapolis/St. Paul I have never flown into or out of though. Enjoy the article!

Travel Leaders Survey Ranks Atlanta Highest Among U.S. Airports

@Travel Leaders Group has released its annual @Travel Trends Survey, revealing domestic airport data that places @Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, @Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport and/or @Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport among the top three in several categories.

Based on a nationwide survey of Travel Leaders Group agents, Hartsfield-Jackson ranks as the top preferred domestic airport if clients have a connecting flight, while @Chicago O’Hare ranks as the worst airport for connecting flights. Atlanta also was identified as the top airport for amenities, dining and providing the best services for business travelers. Minneapolis/St. Paul ranked second in amenities, dining, and for helping to keep kids entertained and occupied.
Today, airport amenities can include spas, yoga rooms, art exhibits and putting greens. “Major airports have transformed considerably in the last decade to accommodate the shift in the amount of time travelers spend there,” said Barry Liben, Travel Leaders Group’s CEO. “At some of the busiest airports around the United States, there has been an explosion in service, such as mini spas and salons, along with a retooling of the retail space toward higher-end goods and electronics. The most significant change has been in the dining options. While food courts still exist, there are more and more health-conscious options and a real trend toward upscale cafés, restaurants and bars.”
