Europe and Credit Cards


When traveling in Europe you may find that your credit card isn’t accepted in their machines. A solution to this is a temporary credit card from your bank. They may offer cards with both Europe’s chip system and a U.S. magnetic stripe feature. The European chip card system adds security which is a nice feature for peace of mind while traveling. You have to enter a PIN number adding another layer of security.  Make sure that you check with your bank before traveling overseas. You can still take cash out of an ATM but then you have the additional fees. Please make sure that you check this out with your bank before traveling…
