Don't be shy

I have written about this subject before but I think that it is worth revisiting. When you are traveling please do not be shy about asking the locals for the best restaurants, places see or sights to visit. Even though you may have done your research on the area, there are always hidden gems that the internet, tour guides or friends may not know about unless you are a native. Many many people are hungry to engage another human in conversation. You may be that opportunity to converse. You never know what that person may have to offer. So reach out to your fellow human beings. Isn’t that the reason you are traveling in the first place? Places and things in other regions would be nothing without the human interaction that created them.
