Oceania Cruises - FFOODDD!!
Oceania Cruises’ Riviera which is due to be christened May 11 in Barcelona, is going to be my next favorite ship. Cat Cora from Iron Chef on the Food Network show “Iron Chef America,” is the new ships' godmother. The new ship will have 10 dining venues plus a Bon Appétit Culinary Center for hands-on learning and La Reserve by Wine Spectator, a professional-level facility for wine tastings and wine-pairing dinners, perfect for sailing the Mediterranean. The chefs on board will offer demonstrations, hands-on cooking classes and market tours in select ports along with wine tastings and dinners featuring recipes from Bon Appétit magazine. And now for the best part - the ships' Culinary Centers have 24 work stations each, and classes cater to all levels of aptitude, from beginner to master-chef level. I can't think of a better way to pass my time on a cruise than learning new cooking techniques and learning about new wines to enjoy with the food that I just prepared! But even better is the fact that I won't have to clean up! YEAH!!
