Sometimes when I am on a cruise ship I almost feel like I am in Las Vegas. There really aren't alot of clocks around. The idea, I guess, it to make it a stress free environment. We shouldn't be looking at the clock, rushing from here to there. We need to unwind and relax. But sometimes, I really need to know the time. What if I meeting someone in another section of the ship? I need to know when I gotta get my butt in gear to meet them. Or when you want to see a show. You don't want to be one of those rude people coming in during the middle, do you?
The 'time' that I really appreciate a clock is when I am in my cabin. I know that our phone have a clock on the front. But do you really want to fuss with your phone in the middle of night? I really don't want to get up and start stirring at 3 A.M.. I want to know what time it is. So here is my tip. Bring a clock when you sail. You may even consider a battery operated clock. Sometimes the outlets are too far to accommodate a clock where you want it. A clock just makes the vacation a little easier, I think.
