David Cogswell in "TravelPulse.com" states, "In the 1960s Liverpool became one of the coolest places on the planet because it was the home of the Beatles. The Cavern Club, where the group first attracted the attention of Brian Epstein and began their rise to international stardom, became something of a shrine, and it still is. For many, just having produced the Beatles would be enough to make Liverpool a must-see city. But the Beatles are just the beginning of a journey visitors to Liverpool can take into the past to discover more about the group and the city where it was born. In fact, there’s an entire attraction, The Beatles Story, devoted to the group. In 1962, John, Paul and George brought Ringo into the group to record their first single “Love Me Do.” But for Liverpool the 50-year Beatle anniversaries will continue one after another just as the events that marked their career proceeded."
The Beatles Story seems like it would be a very interesting attraction to see. How many Beatles songs play through your head in a day? 1? 6? 25? 100? Their influence on other artists was quite diverse as evidenced by rap artists, country stars and everyone in between doing their take on a Beatles song. Their songs were clean and simple, to me. I think that is why they have stuck in our heads and hearts for so long.
